Oh my, this girl is a beauty! It was so hard to narrow down all of her portraits to a handfull of images to post. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing both of Alyssa’s older brothers senior portraits and now its the baby of the family turn. We made a whole day of this special senior portrait session. We left Boise in the morning and headed up to McCall to their cabin. They had already scouted out some amazing locations so I was happy to be along for the ride. After a yummy lunch we started off in historic downtown. Throughout the day we visited the marina, the river, lush fields of grasses and wild flowers, the woods and the lake. Whew! It was a perfect girls day and wonderful memory of this milestone moment for Alyssa.
When planning Blake’s senior portrait session, his Mom told me that she wanted “something different” because all the seniors in their area have pictures that look the same. It was important to Blake to get some images with his truck- since he saved & bought it himself (thats something to be proud of for sure!) And some in his football gear. I enlisted my awesome friend and talented photographer, Crystal Samson, of Capture. You. Photography to help me create some dramatic lighting. Blake was such a good spot letting us play around with some fun techniques- I’m really pleased with the end result!
Its always mind blowing how quickly a year can pass by. Just a year ago we were celebrating Matt & Candace’s wedding- and now we celebrate their first year together. I love how they saved the top of their wedding cake to use in photos! Such a cute idea. I look forward to more anniversary sessions with these two…and maybe someday with a few additions.
Held at her grandparents farm near Twin Falls, Idaho; Bryon & Victoria’s burlap, lace & pearl wedding was nothing short of stunning. It was a collaboration of lots of hands and love. With a ceremony barn wood backdrop as romantic as their vows, the mouth watering dinner catered by Scarrow meats, to the rocin’ reception that kept the guests partying well into the summer night. Congratulations Bryon & Victoria

It was hard not to share every single image from this session. Everything just fell into place- the light, the location, the outfits, and the amazing subjects. I promise my clients are not professional models- but they sure look like they are! They even drove 4 hours round trip from Twin Falls to Boise for their portrait session- what troopers. It was so wonderful meeting your family!
