Tim & Surine’s Wedding! – Boise, Idaho Wedding Photographer

Summer weddings- what can be better? OK sometimes I can do without the heat- but whats the fun in that? Tim & Surine had the most amazing wedding. We started the day off at Simply Stylin’ in Caldwell, Idaho for a girls morning of hair, make-up and mimosas (of course!) The girls then headed to Surine’s (amazing beautiful!) home for lunch, and final preparations. While Tim & the guys spent the morning at a friends home. web3 web4 web5 web6 Special pins from Surine’s Tri Delta sorority sisters to cary down the isle with herweb7 web8 WEB9 web10 web11Flowers by Nyssa Floral

It was a little bit of a challenge to keep Surine & Tim from seeing each other before the ceremony- but thanks to a savvy limo driver we managed. One of my favorite moments was when they held hands around the corner (avoiding seeing each other) and each prayed a prayer for one another.

web20The beautiful ceremony was held at Wild Hearts Springs in Wilder Idaho. Stunning views of the Snake River, Large grassy lawns with waterfall features, a covered bridgd, a large indoor venue (wich came in handy as a reprieve from the 105 degree day) and a stunning quaint chapel all in one venue! Plus the owners are absolutely the nicest people! web27 web28 web29 Traditional Basque Dancers preformed during the ceremonyweb30 web31 web32 web33 web35 web36 web37 web38 web39 web40 web41 web42 web43 web44 web45 web46 The reception was held at The Txoko Ona Basque Center in Homedale. In traditional Basque fashion the food was AMAZING, and the Party didn’t stop all night long! Adam of Directly Driven DJ’s the party while Think Cake made the stunning cake and cupcakes (yum!) Adorable guest favors of handmade Jam and flower seeds for the Tri Delta sisters. Candace Aramburu, the wedding coordinator did an amazing job keeping the day on track and running smoothly. So many touches made this summer, elegant country farm themed wedding a memorable day for everyone. web47 web48 web49 web53-Photographer: Heather Hillman of In His Image Photography by Heather Hillman

Kelsy- Miss Teen Idaho | Boise, Idaho Photographer

Meet Kelsy, Miss Teen Idaho. Who also happens to be a senior at Bishop Kelly High School. I was honored to be asked to photograph her head shots for her autograph cards. It was neat to learn all about the pageant world, Kelsy’s platform, buckle up,  and her dreams to continue on to bigger titles. And a huge thank you to Sonia from Eye Candy faces did a fabulous job with Kelsy’s make-up! Good luck Kelsy, I am eager to watch what the future has in store for you!

Candace & Sean | Boise, Idaho Wedding Photographer

I started to type Candace & Sean’s Engagement portraits- but then realized that wouldn’t be exactly correct. Although these ARE pre-wedding portraits- they are already married! But thats not stopping them from having the wedding day of their dreams! I have to say that I’ve photographed many couples who actually have tied the knot before the “wedding day” and those weddings are always a blast. No cold feet or jitters. Just celebrating love. Well their “engagement” session was no different- they are already so comfortable with each other that getting them to be natural in front of the camera was a breeze. Not to mention that I’m pretty sure neither of them could take a bad photo anyway! Congratulations Candace & Sean!

The Roberts Family | Boise, Idaho Photographer

This family was a riot! With 4 older brothers this sweet little girl will have plenty of opportunities to learn to be tough, but something tells me she will always be the princess of the family. They were rambunctious, but in a good way. they were boys having fun. We got to explore their 100+ year old farm along with the old homestead, chicken coops, and a cow! It was pretty much a photographers wonderland for a location! web1 web2 web3 web4 web5 web6 See what I mean…we definitely had a lot of fun. web7Priceless. Just priceless. web8

Olivia turnes 4! | Boise, Idaho Photographer

I get to say it at least a couple times a year- so I’ll say it again… I love this girl! February is always a little less gloomy because we get to plan and shoot Olivia’s birthday portraits. This year her Mom decided to go with a vintage dress-up look, with an absolutely darling lace romper, headband, and of course some hand picked vintage props. (which was the perfect opportunity to get to bring some of my own favorite cameras from my vintage collection) Happy 4th Birthday Olivia… I hear next year we have something sparkly in the works! ;) WEB3 web1 web2 web3 web5 web6 web7 web8 web9 web10 web11
